Roderick T. Head’s background spans over 16 years of entertainment and media experience, including Def Jam Records, Elektra Records, ASCAP, BMI, NARM and Impact Magazine. As one of Def Jam's inaugural College Promotions Representatives, Roderick contributed to gold and platinum sales of artists such as Redman, Foxy Brown, Jay-Z, DMX, LL Cool J and Method Man.
Roderick has been a columnist with Impact Magazine, a now defunct urban trade publication, and Tech.Nitions Magazine. Well-versed in strategic business development, marketing, economic and infrastructure analysis of the music business along with research and solutions, Roderick holds a B.S. in Recording Industry Management with minors in Marketing and Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University.
Currently, Roderick is a Senior Account Manager with Clear Channel Radio - Memphis, managing a number of entertainment accounts, including major record labels, boxing promoters, concert promoters, nightclubs, and others that are responsible for many of the large-scale events that occur in Memphis throughout the year.
